Humble Beginnings

Our Goal

The name Altum comes from Jesus' call to Peter: “Put out into the deep” "Duc in altum".  Inspired by this invitation to venture beyond the familiar, Altum Studio brings together skilled makers to create products of lasting quality. From leather notebooks and crosses to children's toys, each piece is thoughtfully designed, made to be used, and appreciated for years to come. Our desire is to enrich the small moments that make up everyday life through objects crafted with care and intention. In every project, we seek to honor the spirit of "Duc in altum" to continue exploring, creating, and reaching beyond the normal in pursuit of something better.

Products for Little Moments

It is difficult to grasp the true quality of an object until it is experienced firsthand. The weight, the material, and the precision all reveal themselves only in the hand. These qualities cannot be fully conveyed through a screen, they must be felt. We believe there is value in those small moments of appreciation: pausing to notice the warmth of wood, the character of leather, or the care with which something was made. As these objects age, they develop a story of their own, becoming reminders that the things we use every day can be a source of meaning, beauty, and connection.
